To and from Dublin airport

Dublin airport is about 10 kilometers from the City Center. There was about 19 miljon people flying to or from Dublin Airport las year (2012).

The airport has two terminals. There is a walkway between the terminals. Here is a map of the terminals and where the busses stops.


I do recommend to make a booking with a shuttleservice. It is very conveniet, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your preferd drop-off point and you dont have to negotiate the price. There are some companys that offer this service, for exampel Hoppa.

Bus
Dublin bus #16 drives between the airport and Kingston in Dublin. It stops among others at Grange Rd, Rathfarnham Rd, Terenure Rd North, Harolds Cross Rd, O'Connel St, Drumcondra Rd, Beamount Rd and Swords Rd.


Dublin Bus #41 drives between Lower Abbey St and Swords Manor via the airport. It also stops at Gardiner St, Drumcondra Rail Station, Omni Shopping center and Swords village.


Dublin Bus #102 drives between the airport and Sutton Station via Swords Main St, Seabury and Portmarnock.


Dublin Bus #747 drives between the airport and Heuston trainstation via O'Connell St and Central bus station.


Airlink #747 drives between the airport and Heuston trainstation via O'Connel St, Connolly trainstation och Central bus station among others. Airlink is a faster bus because it uses a turnpike tunnel on its way to the city centre. The bus cost 6 Euro.


Aircoach Ballsbridge/Donnybrook drives from the airport to different stops in the city center and then back to the airport. It stops at O'Connel St, Grafton St, Merrion Square north, Northumberland Rd and Pembroke Rd. You find a link below with all the stops.


The bus leaves the airport two times an hour from 05.00 to 00.00. It leaves once an hour during the night.

It leaves from the City Center as most four times an hour from 07.00 to 21.00. On other times it leaves less often.

Aircoach Leopardstown/Sandyford drives from the airport to different stops in the City Center. It stops at O'Connel St, Morehampton Rd, Donnybrook Rd and Burton Hall Rd among others.. You find a link below with all the stops.


The bus leaves as most 4 times an hour in both directions between 06.00 and 20.00. On other times it leaves less often.

Aircoach Greystone drives between the airport and Greystone. It stops at Sandymount, Blackrock, Shankill and Bray among others. You find a link below with all the stops.


Aircoach Killiney/Dalkey drives between the airport and Killiney via Port Tunnel, Blackrock, Monkstown, Dun Laoghaire, Glasthule and Dalkey. The bus leaves once an hour. You find a link below with timetabel and all the stops.


Aircoach Cork drives from the airport via Dublin City Center and then express to Cork. It takes about 3.5 hour to Cork.

The bus leaves the airport once an hour from 06.25 to 00.25. The bus leaves Cork once an hour from 01.00 to 19.00. You find a link below with timetabel and all stops.


Aircoach Belfast drives from Dublin City Center via the airport to Belfast.It takes about two hours from the airport to Belfast.

The bus leaves the airport once an hour from 04.00 to 00.00 and then 02.00. The bus leaves Belfast once an hour from 00.30 to 20.30 and then 22.30. You find a link below with timetabel and all stops.

Eireann #1 drives from Dublin City Center via the airport to Belfast. The bus leaves about once an hour and takes 2.5 hour. You find a link below with timetable.


Eireann #2 drives from Dublin City Center via the airport to Wexford. It also stops in Loughlinstown, Arklow, Camolin, Ferns and Oylegate. The bus leaves about once an hour during peak times. You find a link below with timetable and all stops.


Eireann #4 drives between the airport and Dungarvan. It also stops in Central Dublin, Carlow and Waterford among others. The bus leaves a couple of times a day. It takes about three hours to Waterford. You find a link below with timetable and all stops.


Eireann #X12/12 drives from the airport to Limerick. It also stops in Central Dublin, Portlaoise and Nenagh. It takes about 3h and 45 minutes to Limmerick. You find a link below with timetable and all stops.


Eireann #20 leaves from Central Dublin to the airport and on to Galway. It also stops in Athlone och Loughrea among others. You find a link below with timetable and all stops.


Eireann #22 drives between the airport and Ballina via Central Dublin, Mullingar, Longford and Charlestown among others. It leaves from the airport at 12.30, 15.30 and 18.00. It leaves Ballina at 01.00, 06.30, 09.30, 12.30, 15.30 and 17.15. You find a link below with timetable and all stops.


Eireann #23 drives from the airport to Sligo via Mullingar, Longford and Carrick on Shannon among others. The bus leaves the airport at 08.20, 11.20, 14.20, 17.50, 20.20 and 23.20. Eireann #30 drives between Central Dublin via the airport to Donegal. It also stops in Cavan and Belleek among others. The bus leaves the airport every second hour from 07.50 to  19.50 the at 22.20 and 00.20. It leaves Donegal at 01.00 then every second hour from 05.00 to 19.00. Eireann #32 drives from Central Dublin via the airport to Letterkenny. It also stops in Monhagan and Strabane among others. The bus leaves the airport at 06.35, 09.05, 11.05, 13.20, 15.05, 17.05, 19.05, 21.05 and 23.05. It leaves from Letterkenny at 01.45, 05.30, 07.20, 09.20, 11.20, 13.20, 15.20, 17.45 and 19.45. Eireann #33 drives from Central Dublin via the airport to Derry. It also stops in Monaghan among others. The bus leaves 6 times a day in each direction. You find a link below with timetable and all stops.



Shuttlebus
You can take a Shuttlebus from the airport to your destination. It means you share a minivan witch other people but still will be droped of where you prefer. It is cheaper then taxi but takes i little bit more time.


Taxi
There is taxi outside both terminals. Follow the signs to find the taxiranks. A taxi to Central Dublin is about 30 euro and takes 20-45 minutes depending of the traffic.


Rent a Car
There is a few companys to rent a car from at the airport. Some of them are Budget, Avis, National and Europcar. All of theme have an information disk in the arrival hall.
