To and from Paris airport Charles de gaulle

Charles de Gaulle is about 25 kilometer outside Central Paris. There are more then 60 million people travelling to or from Charles de Gaulle every year and there are more then half a million aircraft moves every year.

There are three terminals at Charles de Gaulle airport so I split it terminal by terminal. There is a shuttle between the terminals.



I do recommend to make a booking with a shuttleservice. It is very conveniet, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your preferd drop-off point and you dont have to negotiate the price. There are some companys that offer this service, for exampel Hoppa.

Terminal 1

Train
There are no trains from terminal 1. Take the free shuttle to terminal 2 to catch the train. Read more under terminal 2.

Bus
Roissybus drives from Charles de Gaulle terminal 1 to Paris-Opéra station. The bus departs from entrance 32 from the arrivals hall. You find Opéra stationen in Paris at the corner of Rue Scribe and Rue Auber.

The bus departs from the airport at least every 20 minutes from 06.00 in the morning to 23.00 in the evening.  It departs from Paris at least twice an hour between 05.45 and 23.00.

A ticket is about 10 euro.

Buss #350 drives between the airport and Gare de I'est.

The bus leaves between 2-4 times an hour monday to friday depending of what time in the day. On saturdays and sundays it leaves 2-3 times an hour. It takes about one hour from the airport to Gare de I'est.

Buss #351 drives between the airport and Nation in Paris.

The bus leaves 2-4 times an hour monday to friday and about 2 times an hour on saturdays and sundays.

Air France have three lines from Charles de Gaulle.

Air France #2 drives from the airport to Porte Maillot and Etoile in Paris. It departs from entrance 32 at the arrivals hall. It stops close to the metro station at Porte Maillot and Etoile.

The bus departs 2-3 times an hour from 05.45 to 23.00. The journey takes between 35 and 65 minutes depending of the traffic. It is 17 euro singel trip and 29 euro return.

Air France #3 connects Charles de Gaulle with the other airport called Orly. It deaprts from entrance 32 at Charles de Gaulle. It departs from entrance H at the West terminal and K at the South terminal at Orly airport.

The bus departs from Charles de Gaulle twice an hour from 05.55 until 21.00 and then at 21.45 and 22.30. It departs from Orly twice an hour from 06.30 until 22.30. The journey takes between 70-90 minutes and costs 20 euro single ticket.

Air France 4 drives between Charles de Gaulle and Gare Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon. It departs from entrance 32 at Charles de Gaulle. It stops close to the metro stations in Paris.

The bus departs twice an hour between 06.00 and 22.00. It takes about 60-75 minutes and the price is 17 euro. A return ticket is 29 euro.

Noctilien have three night bussesfrom the airport. They departs between 00.00 and 05.00

Shuttlebus
You can take a Shuttlebus from the airport to your destination. It means you share a minivan witch other people but still will be droped of where you prefer. It is cheaper then taxi but takes i little bit more time.

Taxi
You find taxis outside entrance 24 in the arrivals hall. A taxi to Central Paris is about 50 euro and takes about 45 minutes.

Rent a car
There are a few companys to rent a car from at the airport. There are informationdesks at the arrivals hall. Some of the companies are Budget, Hertz, Avis, Europcar, National, Alamo, Enterprise och Sixt.

Terminal 2

Train
There is a train called RER B3 to and from the airport. It stops at Gare du Nord and Saint Michel Notre-Dame among others.It costs about 9 euro to Gare du Nord. You can also by a day-pass if you want to continue travel in Paris tha whole day.
