Stansted airport is about 50 kilometres outside Londons city centre.

I do recommend to make a booking with a shuttleservice. It is very conveniet, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your preferd drop-off point and you dont have to negotiate the price. There are some companys that offer this service, for exampel Hoppa.

A single adult ticket is 22.50 pound and a return ticket is 31.50 pound. You buy your tickets at the station.

At Liverpool Street station you buy your tickets from platform 5-6 and at the airport there are ticket machines near the ticketoffice, at platform 1 and one near the the escalator between platform 1b och 3b.

The train also stops at Tottenham Hale where you can change to underground Victoria Line.

The first train departs from the airport at 05.30 and then up to 4 trains an hour until about midnight.
